Lead Web Content Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex website projects, including planning, documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, administration, and optimization of WordPress and related content management technologies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to stakeholders across marketing, product management, development, security, and architecture teams.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document website enhancements and digital content solutions.
  • Analyze and improve website accessibility, usability, and user experience to ensure effective and engaging digital experiences.
  • Provide front-end and back-end web development support for websites, landing pages, email templates, and user interface components.
  • Apply SEO best practices to optimize website performance, visibility, and user engagement.
  • Create and maintain contingency plans to support mission-critical communications and continuous operational readiness.
  • Utilize approved AI tools and resources to improve efficiency and support day-to-day work activities.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members while promoting Agile methodologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field; equivalent professional experience, training, or certifications may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web content management, web development, or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering web projects in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience building and managing WordPress websites (including WordPress VIP preferred).
  • Advanced HTML coding skills.
  • Strong knowledge of CSS and responsive web design principles.

Additional Technical Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of content management systems, website administration, and web technologies.
  • Experience with graphics composition, visualization tools, and digital content development.
  • Proficiency in website analytics, reporting tools, and information architecture.
  • Experience with front-end development, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 accessibility compliance requirements.
