Job Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment of training needs across various departments and levels within Challenge Mfg. Company, LLC.
- Design and develop engaging and effective training curricula, materials, and modules, including e-learning courses, workshops, and hands-on practical sessions.
- Deliver training programs to employees using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior training specialists or team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing training environment.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Manage training schedules, resources, and logistics, ensuring efficient delivery of programs.
- Stay current with industry best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and training technologies.
- Maintain accurate training records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes.
- Support the integration of new technologies and processes through effective training and change management initiatives.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, training delivery, and program management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading training initiatives and/or teams.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Proficiency in developing e-learning content using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Certifications in training and development (e.g., CPLP, ATD) are a plus.
