Lead the Team RN Medical Administrator

About the role

This position serves as the RN Medical Team Administrator at the Boone County Jail. You will lead a dedicated team, drive quality patient care, and enjoy a predictable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for medical operations
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall jail operations
• Provide clinical guidance and support to medical staff
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
• Manage inventory and supplies for the medical department

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in correctional facilities
• Experience in supervising and leading a healthcare team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
