Lead the Team RN Medical Administrator

About the role

This position serves as the RN Medical Team Administrator at the Boone County Jail. You will lead a dedicated team, drive quality patient care, and enjoy a predictable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the medical team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to the medical staff, promoting excellence in patient care.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care.
• Ensure all medical records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices in correctional healthcare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current RN license in the state of Indiana.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in correctional healthcare settings.
• Experience in supervisory roles and team management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
