Job Summary
The hourly range for this role is $30 - $34. The hourly rate may vary based on location and experience.
Lead Tech I Responsibilities
- Perform electrical/EV installation work and provide direction and site supervision to installation team.
- Verify material requirements and develop installation plan for project and communicate the plan to all technicians and installers.
- Field installation of project scope ensuring all work is performed according to electrical code and is completed in a timely manner.
- Provide regular and timely project information to the operations team regarding project progress, installation variance, manpower resources, equipment rental, and differences in contract project scope.
- Close out projects by conducting quality assurance and prevention, jurisdiction inspections, and any final verification of scope and quality.
- Install, replace, or repair EV charging stations including all electrical work and troubleshooting as needed.
- Perform EV charging audits as required.
- Must be able to perform job tasks with no supervision.
- Adhere to safety policy as well as rules and regulations.
Lead Tech I Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of Commercial and/or Residential electrical experience beyond lighting installation.
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- NRLT or CSLT certification is a plus.
- Journeyman License is a plus.
- Adhere to safety policy as well as rules and regulations.
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
- Able to move or lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to withstand varying temperatures typical in an outdoor environment.
- Significant amount of time spent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- May require climbing of ladders and/or working from heights.
- Requires dexterity for handling materials and operating equipment.
- Requires 80% travel to regional projects and to other states, overnight and extended periods of time, based on business needs.
- May also involve prolonged periods of driving and being on the road.
- Ability to comply with and wear required Protective Personal Equipment (PPE).
