Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Maintain and repair equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
• Install and configure new equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed and submit reports as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a maintenance or repair role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using common hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.

Pay

• $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
