Maintenance Technician I
About the role
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. This role involves responding to basic service requests, assisting in apartment make-readies, maintaining the exterior of the property, and ensuring clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times. The Maintenance Technician I will also be responsible for trash removal, light cleaning, and maintaining the property’s flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas. This position requires effective communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and adherence to all safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Daily Maintenance
- Perform daily maintenance tasks and respond to service requests.
- Absorb and assist in apartment make-readies.
- Maintain property exterior and common areas.
- Pick up trash and ensure clean and acceptable curb appeal.
- Use power blower and pressure washer for cleaning.
- Maintain flowerbeds, plants, grass areas, and pool.
- Communication and Reporting
- Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Report issues and assist with posting notices.
- Safety and Compliance
- Follow safety practices and participate in training.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.

What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Experience with power tools and maintenance equipment.
