Lead Securities Operations Specialist (contract)

Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution and contribute to large-scale planning related to Business Execution deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Business Execution deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Business Execution.

Required Qualifications

• Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

• Lead complex lifecycle initiatives and support tasks, including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as a key participant in large-scale planning and deliverables;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within Securities Operations, including AI-enabled optimization;
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term operational tasks or challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented scenarios;
• Make decisions in complex situations related to full trade processes while leveraging a strong understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives;
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor;
• Translate operational processes into structured, scalable frameworks that support consistency, knowledge reuse, and AI-driven solutions;
• Manage and develop expertise in key operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation;
• Resolve complex escalated issues within the scope of responsibility in Securities Operations;
• Research complex business risks, develop policies, enhance customer satisfaction, and review time-sensitive documents and transaction requests;
• Exercise independent judgment in understanding trade settlement and influence workflow controls to minimize the effects of operational breakdowns;
• Lead overall effectiveness of the team according to plans; monitor daily securities and cash-related production work;
• Lead implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures that require coordination across operational teams; perform analysis for initiatives that support business strategies and involve financial impact and risk considerations.
