Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Securities Operations Specialist to support operational excellence and AI-driven process optimization within a large financial services organization. This role combines deep securities operations expertise with process analysis, knowledge management, and AI enablement to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex securities operations initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Analyze and document operational workflows across the trade lifecycle.
- Develop structured process documentation and knowledge repositories to support AI-enabled solutions.
- Collaborate with business partners and operational teams to identify workflow optimization opportunities.
- Research and resolve complex operational issues while ensuring compliance and risk controls.
- Create standardized operational frameworks, documentation, and decision-support materials.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement new operational processes and workflow enhancements.
- Utilize Excel and related tools to organize operational data and support knowledge management initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Securities Operations experience.
- Strong understanding of the securities trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
- Experience with operational process mapping and workflow analysis.
- Knowledge of operational risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Prompt Engineering, or other AI tools.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled operational solutions.
- Knowledge of Power Automate, SharePoint, or enterprise knowledge management tools.
- Previous Wells Fargo experience is a plus.
- Contact center or frontline operations support experience is preferred.
