Lead Sales Associate - Full Time

Role Overview

The position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with responsibilities extending to leading in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key duties include stocking merchandise, assisting customers, operating cash registers, maintaining store cleanliness, and implementing plan‑ograms. The role also entails ensuring store safety, security, and adherence to company policies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and build displays.
• Assist customers with locating merchandise and provide exemplary service.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage cash controls.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including cleaning and restocking.
• Support opening and closing procedures under supervision.
• In absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash levels, monitor security, and complete necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of safety, security, and cash handling policies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of merchandise presentation and plan‑ogram adherence.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory or related experience advantageous.
