Lead Sales Associate - Full Time

About the role

This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining merchandise presentation, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and implement plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers in locating products and operate cash registers to process transactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and organization, including trash removal and store upkeep.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and security protocols.
• Assist in managing merchandise displays and ordering inventory as directed.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash accountability, and monitor store security.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of cash handling and deposit procedures.
• Proficiency in operating IBM cash registers and understanding safety policies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory or related experience preferred.
