Lead Sales Associate - Full Time

About the role

This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker with leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. The role includes maintaining merchandise displays, stocking, unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain plan‑ograms.
• Assist customers in locating products and operate cash registers.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms.
• Help set up sidewalk displays and maintain a well‑organized store environment.
• In the absence of managers, authorize refunds, count registers, handle deposits, and monitor cash levels and security.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of safety policies, merchandise presentation, and cash handling.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds, with occasional climbing and outside exposure.
• Fast‑paced environment with moderate noise.
• May require driving for store‑related tasks.
