Lead Radiology Tech

Emanuel Medical Center is seeking an innovative and experienced healthcare leader to drive excellence and inspire our team toward exceptional patient outcomes and operational success in the role of Lead Radiology Technologist.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services, the Lead Radiology Technologist is a working team leader responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages and takes the lead position for a predetermined shift. This role requires a working knowledge of conventional Radiology and CT, with the ability to take responsibility for shift performance and quality of studies. The Lead must be able to operate all Radiology or CT equipment, process studies, and precept Imaging Students during designated shifts. Responsibilities include assuring the preparation of exam room(s), equipment, supplies, and medications for patient procedures, as well as patient education.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a fully qualified Radiology Technologist
• IV certification preferred
• Current license and certification in Radiological Technology by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health
• Licensed by the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT)
• Must obtain California Fluoroscopy permit within six months of hire
• Current BLS Certification

Pay

$46.97 - $63.11 hourly. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
