Lead Prep 1st Shift ($19.50-$20.00)

About the Role

This position involves preparing units by attaching lead wires or terminals to copper wire, securing, and insulating these connectors prior to applying insulating material and the nameplate per design requirements. The role interfaces with Leads of each operational unit: Dry Type with Leads, Oil Type with Leads, and Dry Type with Terminals.

Overtime is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work practices comply with OSHA standards.
• Perform operations efficiently while following all safety rules and quality requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform Total Preventive Maintenance duties.
• Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards.
• Record operational data on specified forms or computer software.
• Operate a hoist safely and properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
