Receiving Lead- 1st shift $23.00

Location: Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities

• Assign work based on deliveries, staffing, and operational priorities.
• Receive, verify, inspect, scan, document, stage, and route incoming items.
• Confirm quantities, labels, condition, and documentation; report discrepancies.
• Maintain organized inbound and outbound staging areas and prevent floor buildup.
• Support teammates, reinforce safety and standard procedures, train team members, and escalate operational issues.
• Perform receiving, material movement, staging, and related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Receiving, warehouse, inventory, supply chain, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Lead or training experience preferred; high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer, scanner, email, and inventory-system skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, provide direction, and safely handle supplies and equipment.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to remain stationary and move throughout the receiving area for extended periods.
• Must be able to move, transport, position, place, and remove items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to operate scanners, computers, carts, pallet jacks, and other receiving equipment.
• Must be able to position self to reach, bend, stoop, crouch, and access staging and storage areas.
• Must be able to inspect and identify quantities, labels, package condition, and discrepancies.
• Must be able to communicate instructions and exchange accurate information.

Work Environment

Primarily indoors in a receiving, warehouse, dock, or distribution environment, with occasional outdoor exposure. May encounter delivery vehicles, carts, pallet jacks, moving equipment, noise, bright or dim lighting, and hot or cold conditions near docks and doors. Work near others and share the same workspace. Safety footwear or other protective equipment may be required.

Schedule

Monday through Friday; exact hours depend on operational needs. Occasional weekend work and overtime may be required. Schedule flexibility and reliable attendance are required.
