Lead Platform Engineer, Workday Functional (HCM)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Translate business priorities and HR value propositions into technical solutions
- Deliver Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits through efficient, organized processes while maintaining high standards
- Communicate effectively across teams, product owners, stakeholders, and business partners
- Identify process improvement opportunities and propose innovative ideas to redesign business processes
- Research, test, and stay current on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities
- Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementations
- Serve as the primary contact for Workday system questions from both technical and business perspectives
- Provide production support by troubleshooting problems, testing, and resolving issues with business partners
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 6 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks
- At least 4 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform
- At least 2 years of experience with calculated fields or custom reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration (Recruiting, Benefits, TM/PM)
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment
- Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, or Performance Management)
- 2+ years of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting
- 1+ years of experience loading HCM data into Workday using Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs)

- McLean, VA: $164,800 – $188,100
- New York, NY: $179,700 – $205,100
- Plano, TX: $149,800 – $171,000
- Richmond, VA: $149,800 – $171,000
- San Francisco, CA: $179,700 – $205,100
- San Jose, CA: $179,700 – $205,100
Candidates hired for other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
