Lead Occupational Therapist, Full Time, Day Shift

Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats patients to promote, maintain and improve treatment programs and protocols.
- Serves as a resource to assist with other departmental aspects.
- Provides clinical and professional mentorship to department staff.
- Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
- Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention.
- Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools, establishes individualized treatment plans for patients and completes necessary documentation.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
- Five years' technical experience: Preferred
- Two years' leadership experience: Preferred
- One year's experience in an acute care facility: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $47.60 to $71.34.
