LEAD THERAPIST (FULL TIME DAYS) OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

About the role

The position involves evaluating performance components affecting ADL functioning and providing goal-oriented treatment to enhance independence. It also includes assisting leaders with scheduling, training, orientation, and performance reviews for Certified Occupational Therapists (COTAs) and occupational therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive evaluations of performance components affecting ADL functioning.
• Facilitates maximum level of independence through goal-oriented treatment.
• Aids in scheduling, training, orientation, and performance reviews for COTAs and occupational therapists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program meeting AOTA academic and internship requirements.
• Two or more years of progressively responsible work experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Nevada State Licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
• Current BLS certification.

• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
