Lead Nurse

Responsibilities

• Aid in the orientation and annual training curriculum for the nursing team.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings.
• Develop and manage the nursing team schedule to cover all shifts.
• Provide coverage during necessary times.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards regarding alcohol and drug entities.
• Participate in nursing training and policy compliance activities.
• Complete required training within a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on state and CARF readiness surveys and preparations.
• Ensure adherence to the treatment plans of providers or medical directors.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Have at least 2 years of related nursing practice experience.
• Be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment in good standing.
• Preferred: Hold a Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Have at least 2 years of leadership experience.
