Lead Medical Assistant - Family Medicine - BG

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Medical Assistant Certified to join the Family Medicine team. The Lead’s daily work will encompass both lead and direct patient care responsibilities along with assisting Family Medicine in achieving efficient workflow processes, high-quality clinical outcomes, and exemplary patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Collecting patient information
• Preparing patients for examination
• Assisting with procedures
• Assisting with overall delivery of patient care
• Serving as a core-trainer and super user of EMR
• Supporting and assisting team members
• Contributing to a positive team environment with open communication and feedback

Requirements

• Education and at least 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MA-C (preferred)
• Active credential(s) for Medical Assistant-Certified
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be a team player and support colleagues
• Positive attitude, ability to embrace challenges, and view problems as opportunities

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay

Pay range: $27.47 - $38.46 per hour.
