About the role
This position involves managing operational quality control tasks and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include reviewing technician assignments, conducting spot checks, verifying squawks, and communicating with tech support.
Responsibilities
- Manage technician assignments and sign-offs to ensure compliance with Roster Authorizations and Repair Station Authorizations.
- Perform front-line spot checks of maintenance activity to verify adherence to AMM, RSQCM, and customer GMM guidelines.
- Run/taxi qualification of techs, verify squawk completion, and conduct operational checks.
- Verify MEL procedures and communicate with tech support regarding customer MEL “M” procedures.
- Final walk-around and release of aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Advise customers via email about aircraft releases.
- Ensure proper tagging, inspection, and identification of parts and components.
- Handle customer requests and monitor MX Net status.
- Reject non-compliant work and hold aircraft release if unsatisfactory conditions are identified.
- Communicate effectively in English and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate.
- A valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not mandatory).
- Aircraft specific factory training is preferred.
- Extensive experience in maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations with Part 43.
- Proficient in inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to perform tasks according to FAA guidelines and follow company safety rules.
- Customer-oriented work habits and ability to direct multiple projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Airframe and Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate.

Skills
- Proficiency in inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
- Strong communication skills (speaking, writing, reading).
- Ability to troubleshoot and evaluate system operation.
- Experience with Apple and Microsoft products, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $38.00 - $46.00. Additional compensation includes a shift differential and a 401(k) plan with employer contributions.
Schedule
Varied schedules including 5x8, 4x10, and 3x12.
