About the role
This position involves managing operational quality control tasks and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include reviewing technician assignments, conducting spot checks, verifying squawks, and communicating with tech support.
Responsibilities
- Manage technician assignments and sign-offs to ensure compliance with Roster Authorizations and Repair Station Authorizations.
- Conduct front-line spot checks of maintenance activity to verify adherence to AMM, RSQCM, and customer guidelines.
- Qualify engines/taxis, verify squawk completion, and ensure MEL procedures are complied with.
- Perform final walk-arounds and releases, ensuring aircraft are ready for customers.
- Ensure proper tagging, inspection, and identification of parts and components.
- Communicate with customers regarding aircraft releases and provide feedback on customer requests.
- Review and reject non-compliant work, hold release lines open for unsatisfactory conditions, and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively in English and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent.
- Airframe and Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate.
- A valid driver's license for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not mandatory).
- Aircraft-specific factory training preferred.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations with Part 43.
- Proficient in using inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to perform work according to FAA guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety rules.
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 lbs, routine walking, bending, squatting, and standing.
- Mental requirements involve understanding and implementing regulations, troubleshooting, and working professionally with others.
Skills
- Effective communication skills (speaking, writing, reading).
- Proficiency in Apple and Microsoft products, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with aircraft-specific factory training.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.

Pay & Schedule
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $38.00 - $46.00, with additional shift differentials available. Weekly paydays and other benefits are included.
Schedule
Varied shifts including 5x8, 4x10, and 3x12 schedules are available.
