About the role
The Lead HR Services Administrator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of HR services across the region by providing oversight of day-to-day operations. This role serves as a senior operational resource and trusted partner to employees, managers, HR stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, consistently, and in alignment with global standards and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end HR operational activities across the employee and contingent worker lifecycle, including hires, onboarding, job changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Serve as a lead point of contact for managers, employees, new hires, and HR stakeholders, providing guidance on HR processes, lifecycle transactions, and issue resolution.
- Execute and oversee complex Workday or HRIS transactions with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, timeliness, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Cook up and oversee HR projects and process improvement initiatives, including tracking milestones, identifying dependencies, and supporting implementation.
- Analyze HR case, transaction, and service delivery data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare operational reports, metrics, dashboards, and documentation to support business reviews, audits, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor transaction quality, compliance requirements, service risks, and process adherence; escalate issues with context, recommendations, and follow-through.
- Partner with Payroll, HRBPs, HRIS, Benefits, Procurement, Compliance, and other teams to deliver consistent HR service outcomes.
- Provide informal guidance, knowledge sharing, and process support to HR Services team members to promote consistency and operational excellence.
- Contribute to client-centric HR processes, service delivery improvements, and scalable HR operations that support engagement and high performance.
Knowledge & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, HR administration, and employee lifecycle processes, with sound judgment in complex or non-routine scenarios.
- Proficient in Workday or similar HRIS platforms, including complex transactions, data integrity, process troubleshooting, and service delivery support.
- Strong project coordination, process improvement, reporting, metrics, and analytical skills to support operational performance and continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of HR compliance, documentation standards, audit support, risk mitigation, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across HR, Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compliance, managers, and employees.
- Demonstrates lead-level ownership, accountability, prioritization, problem solving, and influence without direct people management responsibility.
Academic Qualifications & Certification
- A High School Certification or related qualifications.
- Completion or working towards completion of a diploma or degree in a Human Resources field or similar is highly beneficial.
Required Experience
- Experience in HR operations, shared services, HR administration, or a related HR service delivery environment, preferably with regional or global scope.
- Hands-on experience supporting employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, job changes, transfers, promotions, offboarding, and contingent worker administration.
- Experience processing and validating Workday or HRIS transactions with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Experience coordinating HR projects, process improvements, workflow changes, or operational initiatives from planning through execution support.
- Experience preparing and analyzing HR reports, metrics, dashboards, or trend summaries to support decisions and service improvement.
- Experience supporting audit, compliance, documentation, quality control, and cross-functional issue resolution.
- Experience providing informal guidance, peer support, training, or process expertise is preferred.
