Lead Extrusion Associate (Night - D Shift)

About the role
The Lead Associate supervises the production line, reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be gathered, distributed, or produced per quality standards and procedures. Responsibilities include establishing priorities, providing direction, assigning tasks, coordinating and supporting the team to ensure productivity, and instilling initiative.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high-level quality control within the department
- Determine work assignments and equipment needs based on work orders and/or oral instructions
- Complete daily logs
- Wear the proper PPE
- Apply working knowledge of warehouse functions and operations
- Take directions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision
Requirements
- Prior lead experience or assistant management experience (a plus)
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb for 12 hours
- Strong computer knowledge (Excel and Word)
- Frequently lifts 0-10 lbs; occasionally lifts 10-50 lbs
- Frequently carries 0-10 lbs; occasionally carries 10-50 lbs
- Frequently bends, squats, climbs, kneels, twists, pushes/pulls, and reaches overhead
- Must use hands frequently for grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing/pulling
- Must always work in a safe manner and place high importance on producing a quality product
Pay
Starting pay: $26–$30 per hour, with a $2.50 shift differential.
Schedule
2-2-3 schedule.
Weekly pay.
