Extrusion Operator - Night Shift

Shift

• Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM), 3-1-3 rotation
• Initial 90-day training on Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:00 PM)

Pay

• $25.09/hr plus $2/hr shift differential

In this key role, you will take ownership of setting up, operating, and troubleshooting bulk roll film extrusion equipment to deliver top-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion and material handling machinery per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Quality & Precision Control: Monitor gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures. Conduct routine tests and inspect product dimensions using calibrated measuring tools.
• Process Optimization: Identify equipment abnormalities, analyze root causes, and suggest continuous improvements to reduce waste and rework.
• Material & Records Management: Load raw materials, manage machine controls, unload finished goods, and maintain accurate production logs.
• Teamwork & Safety: Actively support site safety standards and collaborate across teams to achieve shared production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, equivalent, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to read precision measuring tools accurately.
• Adaptability to handle shifting production priorities and short-notice overtime.
• Commitment to safety, open communication, and eagerness to cross-train.
