Lead Endoscopy Tech, Days

Responsibilities

• Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during endoscopic procedures in the endoscopy suite
• Performing technical and some patient care duties
• Assuming additional responsibility for the ordering of the endoscopy suite supplies
• Maintaining specialty equipment
• Communication with equipment representatives
• Orientation of new nurses and techs to proper use of specialized equipment

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Work Experience: 3 years of experience as Endoscopy Technician with excellent technical skills in therapeutic endoscopy such as ERCP Required
• Licenses and Certifications: CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR certified Upon Hire Required
