Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient care by assisting the physician during endoscopic procedures in the endoscopy suite, performing technical and some patient care duties.
- Assume additional responsibility for ordering endoscopy suite supplies.
- Maintain specialty equipment and communicate with equipment representatives.
- Orient new nurses and techs to the proper use of specialized equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 3 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician with excellent technical skills in therapeutic endoscopy such as ERCP.
- CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification required upon hire.
