Lead Electro Mechanical Technician - Food Manufacturing

Location: Bellmawr, NJ (08031) – East Philadelphia

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including conveyors, automated systems, motors, sensors, and controls
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, VFDs, relays, sensors, motors, and control panels
• Support automated equipment and production lines in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
• Assist with PLC and control system troubleshooting as needed
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Support continuous improvement efforts and equipment reliability initiatives
• Lead and assist maintenance activities during equipment breakdowns and repairs
• Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, and quality standards

Requirements

• Experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience with production equipment
• Experience troubleshooting motors, sensors, VFDs, relays, conveyors, and automated equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
• Preventive maintenance (PM) experience
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk, or similar controls platforms is a plus
• Ability to work independently and lead maintenance activities on shift
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus

$35 - $40 per hour
