Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of mechanical technicians
- Assign and prioritize daily work to ensure productivity, quality, and timely completion
- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating and static equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, valves, piping, heat exchangers)
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with company standards, procedures, and OEM specifications
- Provide hands-on support for complex or critical repairs as needed
- Coincide with planners, schedulers, and operations teams to support effective work execution
- Support and drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure proper job scoping, material availability, and tool readiness prior to execution
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, PSM, and site-specific safety requirements
- Lead job safety reviews (JSAs), ensure permit compliance, and oversee LOTO execution
- Support performance evaluations, training plans, and ongoing skill development
