Lead Manufacturing Technician

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and operational efficiency of our equipment and systems at our Metropolis, IL location. Reporting directly to the I/E Supervisor, your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and performance in our operations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Site Safety Protocols and Regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of Industrial Electrical/Instrumentation experience.
• Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Electrical Instrumentation Certification and/or 5-7 years of industrial/electrical experience.
• Experience with load cells and taring.
• 4160 Voltage experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair transmitters, dP’s, pH probes, temperature sensors, etc.
• Commitment to safety.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge and experience working with SAP.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Pay

The annual pay for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. This salary information serves as a general guideline; actual offers may vary based on scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, and market considerations.
