The Team
Information processing and sense-making systems are crucial for national security. STR's Analytics and Command & Control (AC2) Division develops advanced technology solutions to provide asymmetric advantages. The Mission Applications (MA) Group specializes in applying STR technology to meet customer mission needs.
The Role
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and tooling for deploying software in operational use.
- Lead engineering teams to ensure the delivered product meets high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Work as part of Agile software teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for various deployment environments.
- Support cloud toolsets in unclassified environments.
- Configure and maintain multiple CI/CD environments at different classification levels.
- Liaise with corporate IT to ensure team infrastructure toolsets are configured, maintained, reliable, and compliant with Department of Defense standards.
- Coach team members on DevOps best practices and continuously improve processes.
- Work remotely when not required to use STR facilities, with some time spent in STR or government facilities.
- Support software applications deployed on classified operational networks.
Who You Are
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active SCI clearance.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, cloud platforms, containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices.
- Knowledge of Linux system administration, Python, and Linux shell.
- Basic knowledge of Cyber Security fundamentals.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Located in San Diego, CA, Denver, CO, Arlington, VA, or Boston, MA, or willing to relocate.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Experience with full web-service stack, project tracking tools, Kubernetes management, GitOps tools, artifact repositories, and static/dynamic code analysis tools.
- Current Security+ Certification.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $175,000 - $240,000. Offers are based on factors such as experience, education, training, key skills/critical skills, security clearances, and prevailing market and business conditions.
