Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and support migration of on-premise or legacy systems to Azure and AWS
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure aligned with migration goals
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support post-migration delivery
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
• Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to plan migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor)
• Ensure system stability, performance and security during and after migration
• Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes where applicable
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting for migrated environments
• Identify risks, troubleshoot migration issues and ensure smooth cutover processes

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE roles
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects (on-prem to Azure/AWS)
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS
• Experience with large-scale or enterprise migrations
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor)
• Good understanding of networking, security and system architecture
