Position Highlights

Position: Lead Cook
Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
Full Time | 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Friday, 12pm - 8:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays

What You Will Do

• Affirm compliance to local and federal production, sanitation and safety standards
• Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the Cooks
• Train new staff
• Notify Facilities of any malfunctioning equipment
• Prepare menu items utilizing standardized recipes for patients, cafeteria and the catered services

What You Will Need

• Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant management/Hospitality, preferred. Completion of an ACF (American Culinary Federation) accredited culinary arts or hospitality management program, preferred.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of five years of food service experience or two years of leadership experience, preferred.

About the Role

The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
