Evening Lead Cook

About the role

The primary objective of the Evening Lead Cook is to serve well-executed menu items while adhering to proper food handling and sanitation standards. They supervise other cooks and kitchen staff and are responsible for the preparation of all foods during an assigned shift, ensuring the efficiency of the line and kitchen operation in accordance with Company specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cooks and kitchen staff during an assigned shift.
• Prepare all foods according to Company specifications and standards.
• Ensure efficiency of the line and kitchen operation.
• Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to properly and safely use all kitchen equipment, including understanding knife safety.
• Experience in a restaurant kitchen environment.
• Employment contingent upon licensing by the Wyandotte Nation Gaming Commission, requiring:
  • Three forms of ID (birth certificate, Social Security card, and valid state-issued ID).
  • Completion of a criminal background check (no felonies).
