Lead Compliance Coordinator
Benecard is seeking a detail-oriented Lead Compliance Coordinator to support regulatory and compliance activities across our pharmacy benefit management (PBM), pharmacy, vision, and healthcare operations.
About the role
In this role, you will help ensure compliance with state, federal, client, contractual, and company requirements. You will work closely with multiple departments to conduct compliance reviews, support audits, monitor regulatory changes, identify potential risks, and assist with corrective action efforts.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and review state, federal, contractual, and regulatory requirements impacting the business.
- Develop, review, and maintain compliance-related policies, procedures, forms, and documentation.
- Conduct quality assurance and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Support auditing and monitoring activities, including documentation reviews, issue tracking, and follow-up actions.
- Identify, assess, and track compliance risks and collaborate with business partners on mitigation efforts.
- Review compliance-related inquiries, issues, and escalations and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Assist with corrective action plans and remediation efforts to address identified compliance concerns.
- Support Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) monitoring, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Assist with oversight of vendors, delegated entities, and business partners to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Monitor and maintain compliance tracking tools, reports, and documentation.
- Prepare compliance reports, summaries, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Provide compliance guidance and support to operational departments.
- Assist with the development and delivery of compliance training and educational materials.
- Maintain organized records to support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, auditing, quality assurance, or healthcare operations.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, PBM, managed care, vision, or health insurance industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.
