Key Responsibilities
- Act as a superuser for the EMA ModMed system, providing guidance to both providers and medical assistants (MAs) regarding system functionalities and troubleshooting
- Mentor and train new MAs, helping them to acclimate to the clinic's procedures and patient care standards
- Monitor and optimize patient flow within the clinic by reallocating staff as necessary during peak times
- Ensure that the clinical team efficiently manages patient appointments, assists with procedures, and maintains clear communication with patients regarding their care
- Oversee inventory management of medical supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and organized
- Support the Practice Manager by addressing patient complaints and operational issues, conducting research to provide informed solutions
- Facilitate compliance with safety and infection control standards, maintaining a clean and orderly clinical environment
- Assist in documenting clinical interactions and patient information accurately in the EHR
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal medical assistant program is preferred
- 2-3 years of recent experience in a clinical role, ideally within a dermatology or cosmetic practice
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is a plus
Skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and clinical staff
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail in managing multiple tasks
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and medical software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and best practices in patient care

Compensation
Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Compensation Range: $18.95 - $24.35 per hour.
