About the role
The Clinic Lead at Mission Neko is responsible for leading a clinical team, managing a complex operation, and owning the member experience. This role requires a blend of leadership, management, and clinical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop Physicians and the Lead Operator through 1:1s, clinical observations, performance reviews, and day-to-day feedback.
- Lead clinical hiring in partnership with Talent Acquisition and own onboarding to ensure new team members reach strong performance quickly.
- Translate clinical and operational changes from leadership into how the clinic actually runs, including workflows, protocols, and day-to-day practice.
- Oversee the operational side of the clinic, including inventory, facilities, hospitality, scheduling, training, and tech issues, ensuring staffing is covered and clinic flow is smooth.
- Track and act on clinic metrics such as rebooking, CSAT, NPS, utilization, and throughput, partnering with medical leadership to continuously improve the quality of care.
- Own incident reporting, risk management, and member-concern resolution in partnership with Customer Care, ensuring the clinic remains compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal SOPs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a clinical setting, including direct management of physicians or licensed clinicians.
- Experience in a high-growth, startup, or early-stage healthcare environment preferred.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills
Strong leadership skills, ability to translate clinical and operational changes into practical action, and a deep understanding of healthcare systems and regulations.
