What You'll Do
- Assist Café Managers with training new team members in Café, Grill, food truck, and Adult Pool Bar operations.
- Help reinforce proper food safety, health code, sanitation, cleaning, and product rotation standards.
- Aid newer team members and help answer questions during shifts.
- Set a positive example by providing professional, personalized, and attentive service to members and guests.
- Communicate concerns regarding service, staffing, or employee performance to Café Management when appropriate.
- Help monitor food, beverage, paper goods, and other supplies and communicate inventory needs to management.
- Help ensure work areas and facilities remain safe, clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Build relationships with members by providing friendly and personalized service.
- Follow and help reinforce Club policies, safety procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Work regular shifts as needed in a variety of positions, including Café Attendant, Server, Bartender, Pool Server, Pool Bartender, and Food Truck Attendant.
- Assist with month-end inventory.
- Respond appropriately during emergency situations and follow established Club procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys working as part of a team and is willing to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
- Qualifications include:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Previous serving, food service, or kitchen experience preferred.
- Private club or upscale hospitality experience is a plus.
- Ability to assist with training and supporting team members.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Working knowledge of POS systems.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy or high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed.
- The successful candidate must be able to obtain or maintain:
- Alcoholic beverage safety certification.
- Food Safety Certification, including applicable Level 1 and Level 2 requirements.
- This position requires an active, hands-on work environment.
- Candidates must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
- Push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Work in hot, humid, and noisy environments.
- Tolerate the smell of chlorine and frequent exposure to cleaning products and agents.
