Lead Coffee Attendant

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely manner with a smile and pleasant disposition.
• Familiarize yourself with the menu, drink and food preparation, and prices.
• Use suggestive selling techniques.
• Take guests’ orders and accurately input them into the computer/register.
• Explain beverage ingredients to guests.
• Engage in friendly conversation with guests while preparing coffee.
• Prepare for the next shift by restocking supplies and cleaning/sanitizing the workstation and equipment.
• Work as a Barista, making coffee, blended beverages, and other drinks.
• Operate the cash register and maintain an accurate bank.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated areas.
• Adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Complete assigned side work and additional daily tasks.

Requirements

• Previous cash handling experience is an asset.
• High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous Food & Beverage experience helpful.
• Previous Starbucks experience an asset.

Pay

Starting salary: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Must be 18 or older for all positions; 21 or older for Beverage Server, Barback, and Bartender roles.
