About the role
The Lead Dining Attendant is responsible for overseeing dining services in a senior living community. This includes managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dining operations including meal preparation and service
- Manage and train dining staff to ensure high standards of customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Assist in planning and executing special events for residents
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a food service management role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of food service management principles
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
