Lead Associate I

About the role

The Lead Associate position at Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina provides store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager/Assistant. This role requires integrity, resourcefulness, and a passion for a fast-paced, varied environment.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds).
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.
