About the role

This role is responsible for managing Red Hat Linux systems using Ansible and Veritas technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage Red Hat Linux systems using Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Develop and maintain Veritas Volume Manager and Cluster Server configurations.
• Implement and manage Veritas replication solutions.
• Write and execute Unix scripts for automation and management tasks.
• Ensure network stability and optimize storage solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement virtualization and cloud strategies.
• Support and troubleshoot issues related to Red Hat Linux systems and Veritas technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Red Hat Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, including playbook and role development.
• Strong proficiency in Veritas technologies (Volume Manager, Cluster Server, Veritas replication).
• Solid understanding of Unix scripting (bash, Shell, etc.).
• Familiarity with networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.) and storage solutions.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, etc.) is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) is preferred.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

Pay

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
