Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Accounts Receivable Representatives, ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines, as well as providing transactional support and professional development.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in applying payments and reporting past due balances.
- Communicate clearly and provide detailed information to internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing requests and discrepancies promptly.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and supporting documentation in shared drives.
- Prepare monthly collection action reports for management.
- Prepare disbursement requests for policyholder returns and broker commissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Collections experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
