Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of Accounts Receivable Representatives, ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines, as well as providing transactional support and professional development.
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness in applying payments and reporting past due balances.
  • Communicate clearly and provide detailed information to internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing requests and discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and supporting documentation in shared drives.
  • Prepare monthly collection action reports for management.
  • Prepare disbursement requests for policyholder returns and broker commissions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Collections experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
