Law Enforcement Security Officer: Patrol Driver

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver Cadet in Honolulu, HI, to serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This is an unarmed patrol officer position at a major transportation location supporting government operations. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and public spaces to help support authorized access, follow post orders, and/or address questions from the public in a professional manner.
• Assist with traffic flow, queue observation, and general post presence in high-visibility areas to help support orderly operations and/or report maintenance, suspicious activity, or other security-related issues.

Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Pay

$28.86 / Hour

Schedule

Part Time. Daytime shifts: Wednesday 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM.
