Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
  • Support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
  • Maintain access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or authorizations in accordance with site-specific procedures and government location requirements.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear reports, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • 22+ years of age.

Qualifications

  • No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C.922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.

Skills

  • Able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.

Pay

$28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

DayTime: Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
