About the role

Linen Technician responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery, collection, and organization of linen within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from the Linen Distribution Manager to deliver clean linen, collect soiled linen, manage inventory levels, record data accurately, and maintain a tidy linen storage area.
• Handle customer service calls professionally and report linen misuse or waste.
• Transport carts safely and ensure inventory is replenished to prescribed levels.
• Perform any other assigned tasks and work with both clean and soiled linen according to policies.

Requirements

• Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and meet vaccine requirements.
• Physically active role involving walking up to 5 miles daily, lifting, pushing, and handling linen and carts weighing up to 70 pounds.
