About the role
Linen Technician responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of linen within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Follow directions from the Linen Distribution Manager (LDM) to complete tasks such as delivering clean linen, collecting soiled linen, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Manage linen inventory levels, organize storage areas, and record data accurately using tablets or sheets.
- Respond to customer service calls professionally and promptly.
- Report linen misuse or abuse, and maintain a clean linen room.
- Transport carts safely, build back to prescribed levels, and manage top‑off carts.
- Perform other assigned tasks and handle both clean and soiled linen in accordance with policies.

- Ability to make decisions regarding linen quantities and scheduling
- Must pass background checks, drug screenings, and meet vaccine requirements if applicable
Requirements
- Physically demanding role requiring walking up to 5 miles daily
- Lifting up to 10 pounds
- Pushing carts up to 70 pounds
- Handling soiled textiles safely
- Flexibility to cover other shift positions
