Landscaping Supervisor

About the role

Monarch is seeking a dependable, experienced Landscaping Supervisor to oversee year-round landscaping and exterior property maintenance for six apartment communities that we own and manage in the Muskegon, Michigan area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on landscaping professional who takes pride in maintaining beautiful, clean, and well-kept communities. The ideal candidate has professional landscaping experience, can work independently, and is comfortable handling seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance across six apartment communities.
• Operate commercial mowing equipment and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Complete spring and fall cleanups, including leaf removal, trimming, and seasonal preparation.
• Operate a truck equipped with a snow plow to support winter snow removal operations.
• Perform seasonal groundskeeping, snow removal, and other year-round exterior maintenance duties as needed.
• Monitor property conditions and help ensure all six communities maintain Monarch's standards for curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional landscaping experience required.
• Previous snow plowing experience using a truck-mounted plow required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Experience operating 0 turn lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.

Pay

Competitive hourly pay: $25.00–$26.00 per hour. Overtime potential: Additional earning opportunities based on operational needs. Annual raises: Salary increases based on performance. Quarterly bonuses: Opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses.
