LANDSCAPER/GROUNDS WORKER

What You'll Do

• Assist the Facilities Maintenance team in the upkeep and beautification of the Summit Point facility.
• Work as part of a team to operate landscaping equipment and perform a variety of groundskeeping tasks.
• Keep the property safe, functional, and visually appealing.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding.
• Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees according to seasonal and environmental needs.
• Sweep, rake, and remove debris from walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including weed eaters, trimmers, mowers, leaf blowers, and other hand tools.
• Lawn mowers may be used after sufficient training and demonstrated proficiency.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides safely and according to regulations and company protocols.
• Absorb and execute instructions to assist in the construction of landscape features, such as retaining walls, pathways, and flower beds.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of landscaping storage areas and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Facilities Maintenance team and the overall operation of the Summit Point facility.

Requirements

• Must have experience with mowing, trimming, and weed eating.
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and safe operation of landscaping machinery.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
