About the role
Join this powerhouse transactional and litigation team as their newest Land Use/Real Estate Attorney. You’ll rely on your practice area expertise as you advise clients on all matters relating to land use and real estate transactions and developments, from zoning and due diligence to entitlement issues and title reports. Additional responsibilities will include negotiating on behalf of clients; drafting purchase and sale agreements; representing clients before governmental organizations; and liaising with developers and environmental consultants. You’ll partner with colleagues that specialize in environmental and construction law to facilitate complex real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on all matters relating to land use and real estate transactions and developments
- Negotiate on behalf of clients
- Draft purchase and sale agreements
- Represent clients before governmental organizations
- Liaise with developers and environmental consultants
- Partner with colleagues specializing in environmental and construction law to facilitate complex real estate transactions
Requirements
- 3-10+ years of land use/real estate transactional experience
- Oregon State Bar membership
- JD degree
Qualifications
- Practice area expertise in land use and real estate transactions and developments
- Experience with zoning, due diligence, entitlement issues, and title reports
- Ability to negotiate on behalf of clients
- Strong drafting skills for purchase and sale agreements
- Experience representing clients before governmental organizations
- Ability to liaise with developers and environmental consultants
